At
Disco Dollars, we strive to develop innovative services to better serve our users. We recognize that privacy is an important issue, so we design and operate our services with the protection of your privacy in mind. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information we gather when you use
Disco Dollars's services, as well as some of the steps we take to safeguard it.
|
The following principles apply to the personally identifying information we ask for and that you provide. "Personally identifying information" is information that individually identifies you, such as your name, physical address or email address.
|
Disco Dollars
collects limited non-personally identifying information your browser makes available whenever you visit a website. This log information includes your Internet Protocol address, browser type, the date and time of your access and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. We use this information to operate, develop and improve our services.
|
Some of our services require you to register for an account.
Disco Dollars asks you for some personal information in order to create an account (typically your name, email address, e-gold account and a password for your account) and we will use that information to provide the service. For certain services, such as our advertising programs, we may request credit card or other payment information, which we maintain in encrypted form on our server.
|
Disco Dollars may ask for identification before payment is sent out to any member at any time. Payments over $50 will be required to provide photo identification with proof of address. In addition, all members requesting payments in the form of gift cards or gift certificates are required to provide photo identification before they receive their payment, no matter what the dollar amount is.
|
Upon your first visit to
Disco Dollars, a cookie is sent to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. A "cookie" is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website.
|
We use cookies to improve the quality of our service and to better understand how people interact with us.
Disco Dollars does this by storing user preferences in cookies and by tracking user trends and patterns of how people access our site.
|
Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some
Disco Dollars features or services may not function properly without cookies.

Disco Dollars reserves the right to refuse payment to any user for any reason. All earnings (offer, referral, and bonus) are considered property of
Disco Dollars up until payments have been processed and sent.
Disco Dollars is not responsible for delays in the mail system for check.
Disco Dollars is not responsible for lost/stolen/ruined checks. PayPal payments will only be sent to verified PayPal accounts. If a user's PayPal account is unable to receive payments or the status of the transaction is "unclaimed", then
Disco Dollars reserves the right to withhold payment from that user. If it is found that a single user has multiple PayPal accounts, that user will be indefinitely removed from the
Disco Dollars system and will forfeit all earnings (offer, referral, and bonus).
|
If a user earns at or above $600.00 during a fiscal year, that user must submit a W-9 tax form, provided by the IRS on their website. The tax form must be either mailed in paper form to the
Disco Dollars
address, or submitted electronically via the Home page link. If a user is to go over $600.00 in a fiscal year prior to receiving a W-9 tax form provided by the IRS, then
Disco DollarsDisco Dollars
will hold all earnings for that user (up to 3 months from the payout date that would send the user at or above $600.00 for the fiscal year) until a W-9 tax form is provided. Failure to send a W-9 in once a user goes over $600.00 entitles
Disco Dollars
to place that user's account on hold indefinitely or until communication is made and the issue is resolved.
|
Disco Dollars processes payments beginning on the 30th (unless the 30th is a Sunday or a US Holiday, in which case payments will begin to be processed on the 31st or 1st) of every month for the PREVIOUS month's earnings.
|
Payments can take up to, but not limited to, the 5th of the next month. Checks or gift cards sent from
Disco Dollars may take even longer depending on the mail system. If a user's account is placed on hold for any reason between the 1st and 25th of the month, prior to payouts being processed, and that user made payout for the previous month's earnings,
Disco Dollars reserves the right to withhold payment for a determined or indefinite amount of time from that user.
Thus, offers completed during a prior month may not always be
confirmed/paid-out the following month, as there are sometimes delays
in receiving commissions on, and, by participating in
Disco Dollars, members understand and acknowledge that no payment shall be made until
Disco Dollars
has received payment from its advertisers. Before payment, accounts are
audited for validation, to ensure both that no fraud has taken place
and that the offer(s) has been paid upon.
Disco Dollars will
never be deemed as owing payment to any member. Payment will only be
made after verification that offers completed have been so validated.
Disco Dollars
reserves the right to request proper identity verification for any and
all accounts without stating a reason therefore. If such a request is
made of a member and subsequently refused,
Disco Dollars reserves the right to withhold funds.
|
Account Suspension
Member accounts that do not complete at least one offer during a 45-day period will have their account suspended in order to insure that user information is accurate and current. Due to the rapid increasing membership count, it is necessary to insure that we maintain pertinent and accurate data for each of our users. Each account will be evaluated on an individual basis.
Any member or advertiser who has purchased advertising during the latest 45-day period is an exception to this rule.
|
Disco Dollars may, at its discretion, terminate any account, for any reason, at any time, without any prior notice or warning. Members whose accounts have been terminated by
Disco Dollars , for any reason, shall lose any and all potential benefits associated with the Service.
Disco Dollars shall neither offer nor owe anything to users whose accounts have been terminated or suspended. Users whose accounts have been terminated remain subject to the Terms and Privacy Policy. When you sign up to Disco Dollars, you are agreeing to these Terms of Service noted herein.
|
Please note this Privacy Policy will change from time to time. We expect most such changes to be minor, but there may be changes that are more significant. Regardless, we will post those changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will also provide a more prominent notice on our News Page. Each version will be noted at the top of the page.
